Travel leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller

Vasta Expeditions is a cruise operator created by Vasta Discovery, with cruise operations carried out by the tour operator Panarctic Star

We’ve been working in the Russian Far East since 2019, specializing in adventure tourism and sea expeditions.

In 2022, we launched our first expedition cruises aboard a research vessel. Over 500 guests joined us during the first season — each one experiencing unique, high-quality travel programs never before available in the region.

We helped over 500 people feel like pioneers

chronology

2019 — Our first cruise: a test expedition for company leadership and a field team to scout potential routes.

2022 — Launch of the Vasta Expeditions cruise project: five cruises across two routes from Vladivostok to Kamchatka. Our first satisfied guests --- and our first success.

2023 — New routes across Chukotka added. We explored Wrangel Island and the Commander Islands. A total of 13 cruises were conducted, including: classic itineraries around the Kuril Islands, two expeditions to Wrangel Island, two voyages for the Bering Strait Festival, a diving cruise with the "Predelnaya Glubina" club, and a major expedition from Chukotka to Kamchatka with visits to the Commander Islands.

2024 — We’ve planned 13 cruises this year, expanding our offerings with new formats across familiar regions: short 9-day programs in the Northern Kurils, an express cruise in Chukotka, and our classic routes across the Kuril Chain and Wrangel Island. During our Chukotka cruises, we are also scouting new areas to return in 2025 with fresh ideas and experiences.
