In 2027, Vasta Expeditions launches its seventh expedition season. We’ll once again set out for the most remote shores of Russia’s Far East aboard the expedition vessel "Professor Khromov." We’ll watch whales, walruses, seals, and seabirds, land on uninhabited islands, explore protected territories, sail along volcanic coastlines, and get to know life in northern settlements. The vessel "Professor Khromov" — is a research vessel with ice class UL
Built in 1982 at a shipyard in Finland, it has been refitted for comfortable accommodation of up to 50 passengers. It features luxury cabins, mini-suites, 2-person cabins with private bathrooms, as well as 2- and 3-person cabins with shared bathrooms. Passengers also have access to a spacious lounge with a library, a conference hall, a relaxation room, a bar, and a sauna.
